Description

Potash Farm is a wonderful, Grade II listed farmhouse with extensive additional accommodation across two holiday cottages and an annexe.

The main building is a charming thatched farmhouse, believed to date back to the early 15th century. It retains many delightful period features throughout including exposed beams and studwork.

An oak panelled front door leads to a hallway with doors to the drawing room and kitchen/breakfast room, and stairs to the first floor. The drawing room is a superb room with wide oak floorboards, an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, and French windows.

The kitchen/breakfast room in the heart of the house has a two door aga, original ancient oak fronted cupboards and a twin butler sink; a stable door leads to the boot room. A rear hallway beyond the kitchen has an exceptional flagstone floor, a secondary staircase and doors on to the sitting room and bathroom.

The upstairs accommodation comprises four well-proportioned bedrooms; the principal bedroom is especially pleasant with views over the garden and an en suite shower room.
Annexe

To the north of the main building is a lovely one-bedroom annexe with an open plan kitchen/reception room.
Holiday cottages

Potash Farm has two fabulous Suffolk barns, which have been sympathetically converted into holiday cottages. The larger barn has an excellent vaulted reception hall, two kitchens, four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The smaller barn, which is on one floor, has two bedrooms, a bathroom and an open plan kitchen/reception room.
Dutch barn

The Dutch barn is split in two: The north side presently comprises a large games room on the ground floor with a studio/fitness room above; the south side is an expansive double storey work room and store.
Outside

Potash Farm has a splendid and varied garden with a large pond, numerous paddocks and a small orchard. There is ample parking.
