Minotaur Barn offers a flexible living layout so you could have a number of bedrooms, or adjust it to have more living space if required. There is also a business opportunity as the owners have converted parts of the barn into bedsits that are currently rented out. Back in the Entrance Hall, turn right into the main part of the house and you enter into a large open reception room with a ground floor Bathroom. Continue through this reception area and you will get to the stunning open plan Kitchen/ Dining and Living area with doors that take you out to the garden, via decking.
From the Reception area, there are stairs either side. The stairs that lead down are to a further reception room and a Boiler/Utility room. The stairs that lead up take you to a beautiful mezzanine balcony above the Living area along with an impressive space, which could be used as an office.
The broadband connection is fibre optic, provided at present by Gigaclear and there is an electric point for charging cars.

Outside, there is approximately 1.5 acres with a number of fruit trees to enjoy. There is an additional field of approximately 3.5 acres that can be purchased by negotiation.

Overall, this gives you the opportunity to make this much loved home, your own.

Minotaur Barn

Project managed by the current owners, the main house was constructed by Oakwrights, using the special skills of local craftsmen, eco friendly building materials and techniques, they created a delightful modern house with a traditional feel.

The frame of the house is made from solid green oak and was completed using the breathing wall system. The roof, walls and floors are 30cm thick. They are filled with warm cell (a treated cellulose fiber), allowing water vapour to escape naturally. The indoor stud walls are insulated with sheep wool. The whole house is double glazed, using low emission k-glass on the south facing elevation. This makes the house warm in winter and cool in summer.

Minotaur Barn was first used as a small holding to breed sheep, pigs, chicken and geese.
