Description:

"Dogs & BBQ's! We knew what was important when we moved into our first family home five years ago.

Having a garden backing directly onto Hornfair Park, close to Charlton Park and a short journey to Blackheath and Greenwich we have benefitted from a lot of open space and beautiful parkland.

A good commute into London was also a priority. Charlton and Woolwich give us options for trains and the DLR whilst North Greenwich is a bus ride away, making the journey to London Bridge, Cannon Street, Charing Cross (and soon Canary Wharf and Liverpool Street) relatively easy.

We fell in love with the house for its roomy second floor master bedroom with an uninterrupted view of Hornfair Park. We have fully renovated a bedroom, the kitchen, bathroom and hallways and modernised all the facilities and appliances.

Our two dogs fully appreciate lounging in the sun or shade of the garden in the summer and on the rug in front of the log burner during winter (the bay window is the perfect setting for an impressive traditional Christmas tree). We have enjoyed our summer BBQ's, garden parties and family dinners. Having the ability to work from home and having plenty of outdoor space has been a blessing in recent times. Three double bedrooms have had the flexibility to accommodate our changing needs as a family.

One of the unexpected charms of living in Charlton has been regularly seeing the impressive King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, both in and out of their ceremonial capacity, taking their morning exercise. Another is having a prime viewing spot to wave to the runners of the London Marathon as they pass by Charlton Lido."

As the sellers say this is such a flexible family house for a couple looking to grow. Such a peaceful residential spot, but full of surprises and green space nearby.

Highly recommended!
