The views from this house were the instant attraction for us! Moving from a busy area of London, we were looking for green space and tranquillity within an easy commute of the city. The area of St Johns is a rare find in this respect and we have often reflected on how lucky we are to be immersed in nature whilst being so close to work and amenities.
A 10-minute walk away, Earlswood station offers trains to Victoria, London Bridge and Kings Cross St Pancras. Reigate and Redhill are a 25 minute walk or 5 minute drive for shops, restaurants and the beautiful Priory Park. There are nice pubs within a 5 minute walk and the desirable St Johns Primary School is right next door.
Kings Avenue is a community in itself - the recent Queen’s Jubilee street party was testament to this! We have loved living here and we will find it hard to replicate our little idyll as we move north to be closer to family.
