Description:

A Virtually Brand New Two Bedroom Apartment In Arborfield Green Available To Buy Turn-Key Ready!

Seller View...
I fell in love with this apartment the first time I walked in and knew it was the right space for me. The floorplan is excellent, both bedrooms are very spacious and I love the amount of natural light in the main living space. It is unfortunate for me to be selling so soon after moving in however an unforeseen job change and relocation means the apartment must find a new owner who I hope enjoys the space as much as I have!

Agent View...
This apartment at Equestrian Walk is a joy to spend time in. Easily accessible, the entrance is tucked away and decluttered and the apartment itself is virtually brand new! The main living space features triple aspect windows letting in so much natural light and the furniture staged here (available upon request) compliments the space perfectly. Book a viewing to come and see for yourself!

Area View...
The land upon which Equestrian Walk stands has a fascinating story to tell. More than 115 years ago, the War Office opened the Arborfield Remount Depot here, as a training centre for horses who would go on to serve in the British Army. Tens of thousands of horses were transported abroad during the First World War, either to perform cavalry roles or to move supplies, ammunition and other equipment. In 1937, the Remount Depot closed, reopening as the Arborfield Garrison the following year and becoming an Army Technical School. In 1942, the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers of the British Army (reme) moved their operations to Arborfield. The school became the Army Apprentice School during the Second World War; by the time it closed in 2004, over 50,000 apprentices had begun their army careers at Arborfield. The reme moved to the former RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire in 2016, the same year as the first residents moved into Arborfield Green. Arborfield Green’s rich history is evidenced in the names of its two on-site nurseries, Poperinghe and Hazebrouck, which are so called after the former site barracks. The village is also home to Hazebrouck Meadows and Hazebrouck Road. Meanwhile, the former garrison headquarters, The Moat House, will be given a new life as offices.
