About Stortford FieldsStortford Fields is our collection of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes, located in the popular market town of Bishop’s Stortford in Hertfordshire. This is a really good location for access to both town life and country life.
This is a great location for many reasons. It’s within easy reach of Harlow and the M25 to the south, Braintree and Colchester to the east, and Cambridge to the north. Train services from Bishop’s Stortford into Central London take just under an hour and 20 minutes, making the town a popular place to live for city commuters. For well-deserved family time away from work, you’ll be in an ideal position for getting out into the lovely countryside of Essex, Cambridgeshire, and of course Hertfordshire. As for a wide range of international destinations, London Stansted Airport is less than 5 miles away, just to the east of the M11.

EducationThere are several primary schools close to Stortford Fields; St Michael’s CofE, St Joseph’s Catholic, Hatfield Heath, Manuden and Manor Fields, are all well-known to the area. There are five secondary schools close-by, many of which have gained special college status; St Mary’s Catholic School, Birchwood High School, Hockerill Anglo-European College, Bishops Stortford High School and The Herts & Essex High School.
ShoppingLiving at Stortford Fields means that you’ll have everything you need close to home. The town’s attractive high street is filled with 16th and 17th century buildings which sit alongside the newer Jackson Square Shopping Centre. Fresh from a £5.5 million facelift, Jackson Square is full of high street names and coffee shops. Entertainment is covered too as there’s a cinema, health club, bowling alley and the Rhodes Arts Complex - a large live music and contemporary arts venue and museum.
TransportBishop’s Stortford train station links the town to London Liverpool Street on the West Anglia mainline, operated by East Anglia trains. There are also regular trains to Cambridge, Stratford, Harlow and King’s Lynn. There’s also a useful service to London Stansted Airport.
